Q: How are your lessons?
Let’s have fun and enjoy. I want you students to have a good time in my group and private lessons, to be excited for your lessons, and for you to want to learn more about Japanese culture and the language. I also want my lessons to be educational, but the most important thing is motivation because if you are having a good time, you will continue learning and more importantly be motivated to learn outside the classroom as well. Since I like talking to people, I want to help my students who are a bit more shy to speak as much as possible. I have many friends who are shy and understand how hard it is to start speaking so we can use the classroom to help get you start speaking as much as possible.
Q: What do you like about teaching?
I enjoy not only watching my student's progress, but also seeing my students gain more confidence to speak Japanese. Teaching is something I feel really passionate about because I can see my students excited to come to class and curious to learn more about Japan. I am also sometimes the person my students speak to most when they arrive in Japan, so I feel happy that I can answer your questions and help make life in Japan more enjoyable and less of a mystery.
Q: What are your hobbies?
I really like talking to people and meeting new people. My friends consider me a funny person and I like to tell jokes and have fun. You can probably tell who I am because I am the one who is always smiling. I really love traveling and exploring areas outside of Japan. I have been to several countries and continue to plan to travel to more. I look forward to hearing about your country and maybe I will come and visit your country sometime.
