Why did you become a Japanese teacher?
I have had a strong interest in foreign countries and foreign languages since English classes began in elementary school. And after graduating from high school, I knew that in the future I wanted to work as a link between Japan and the rest of the world. As I love taking care of people, teaching, and learning foreign languages, I thought that a job as a Japanese language teacher would be a perfect fit for me, so I decided to pursue this career. I still have a lot of hard work, but more than that, I enjoy meeting people from many different countries who are interested in Japan.
What do you like about teaching Japanese?
By teaching Japanese, I have learned a lot about the national character and culture of people from different countries, which I had never known before in my life. I love this job, which is not just teaching Japanese, because I can tell people about the Japan that they don't know, and we can both learn and realize things together.
How are your lessons?
In my classes, I try to make it so that students can learn what they want to know by deriving from the textbook rather than just going along with it. So please feel free to ask me anything you are curious about.
What are your hobbies?
Basically, I love to eat and I like to find different kinds of good restaurants. As for sports, I like playing tennis and watching volleyball.
Recently, I have started watching various anime.
