Why did you become a Japanese teacher?
I spent seven years of my childhood in the UK and the US. And I studied abroad in the UK for a year. During my experience, I was supported by many people, especially my ESL teachers and friends. Being able to use English has broadened my life. I’ve always wanted to support those who want to use foreign language to better their life or have enjoyable experiences.
What do you like about teaching Japanese?
I enjoy seeing learners improve. When I receive questions, I find the differences in language and culture to be very interesting. I feel that when students ask questions, it is a sign that they are improving.
How are your lessons?
I myself am learning Korean now. I find learning a language is fun, but difficult at the same time. I try to keep my lessons enjoyable and productive.
What are your hobbies?
I like traveling, driving, going to music concerts, and watching sports.
