Q: How are your lessons?

I believe that you can improve your language skills with lots of practice. In my class, I converse with my students a lot and correct their mistakes. It is easier to remember the correct use of words or grammar by making mistakes rather than by learning by heart.

Q: Why did you become a teacher?

I became a teacher because I enjoy learning about foreign cultures and countries. In my classroom, I want to introduce Japanese culture to my foreign students who came to Japan to study.

Q: What do you like about teaching?

I love interacting with my students, it makes me happy. When students use newly learned Japanese words without worrying about making mistakes, it makes me so proud of them. I also find it extremely ecouranging.

Q: What are your hobbies?

I love going for long walks. When I have a day off, I often go for long walks in Enoshima, outside of Tokyo. It's perfect for a refreshing walk and a very popular sightseeing area.
