Why did you become a Japanese teacher?
During my time as a student, I had the opportunity to be in Cebu Island, in the Philippines, and Singapore. After graduation, I worked in the hotel industry because I wanted to help foreigners traveling to Japan. My job was really fulfilling, since I was able to help them enjoy a unique experience. But Covid suddenly spread all around the world, including Japan, and the number of foreign tourists dropped.
At that moment I thought about what I could do next. Some of my friends shared with me how they struggle to learn Japanese. So I came up with some ideas to make learning Japanese easier and more enjoyable for them. That's when I became a Japanese teacher.
What do you like about teaching Japanese?
I'm always interested in learning new things and getting to know different cultures. That's why one of the things I like the most is communicating with students from all over the world. I believe I can provide the support that students need. Learn Japanese together with me and let's share each other's hobbies, national culture, and more! How are your lessons?
My private lessons are tailored to each individual's goals and pace. I think that each person wants to use Japanese in different ways. Some people might need it for work, others for making friends, or in general for being able to communicate with Japanese people.
We'll practice together using a textbook. Based on your interests, we'll adapt it and change the scenes and topics we talk about. That way you will learn Japanese expressions and vocabularies that you will actually use. I hope that you learn useful Japanese through my interesting and funny lessons!
What are your hobbies?
My hobbies are eating delicious food, hanging out with friends, glamping, snowboarding, watching anime, traveling, and watching movies. I recently got addicted to SPY×FAMILY and Blue Rock (soccer anime). If you know it too, please let me know! Who is your favorite character?
