Why did you become a Japanese teacher?
When I was a manager at an English school in the Philippines, I learned about the joy of learning a new language and experiencing new cultures through language. At the same time, I became interested in my native language, Japanese, once again. In order to re-learn my mother tongue as a language, I attended a training school after returning to Japan and passed the "Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test". Even now, I am thrilled every day with the fun of the Japanese language together with everyone.
What do you like about teaching Japanese?
I feel the true joy of teaching during every lesson when I can share enjoyable moments together with my students, and listen to their experiences and stories told in the Japanese language they have learned.
How are your lessons?
Learning a language can be a difficult task. That's why I want to share with my learners the sense of accomplishment I feel when they achieve something new in their studies, and above all, make the learning experience an enjoyable time for everyone.
What are your hobbies?
Relaxing at home and watching various animals (especially cats ♡) on YouTube is my therapeutic time. Outside, I love gorgeous and beautiful things, and enjoy going to drag queen shows and live concerts to have a great time and get excited.
