"If you are interested in Japan and want to enjoy talking with Japanese people, I would like to help you with my lessons!"

Why did you become a Japanese teacher?

I used to teach English at a high school in Japan. I am interested in languages themselves and really enjoy teaching. It’s really interesting for me to explore foreign countries as if I were in a game, and talking with people using English has made it even more exciting. If you are interested in Japan and want to enjoy talking with Japanese people, I would like to help you with my lessons!

What do you like about teaching Japanese?

I love to hear the stories of my students when they try to ask something to people with Japanese that they have just learned. Sometimes they report about it to me. They are my treasures. I want my students to speak a lot and make many Japanese friends.

How are your lessons?

I always teach Japanese with smiles and encourage my students a lot. I give them some challenges that they have to make their own sentences depending on the various situations. It’s fun to have this kind of challenge at the end of the lesson.  And I encourage them to use the phrases in their real life.

What are your hobbies?

Traveling abroad, visiting onsen (hot springs), watching movies, following international sports matches, and listening to music.
