Shinjuku Japanese Teacher

Branch: Shinjuku Language SchoolAkihabara/Ueno
Lessons: Group and Private Lessons

"Seeing the progress and success of my learners is a great joy for me as a Japanese language teacher."

Why did you become a Japanese teacher?

I used to work with foreigners and realized that being able to speak Japanese can open up new experiences and opportunities in both work and private life. I want to assist those who are interested in Japan or those who have a connection to Japan, so I obtained a qualification as a Japanese language teacher. By sharing my language and culture, I hope to help others deepen their understanding of Japan and enrich their lives.

What do you like about teaching Japanese?

I am also very happy when my learners show the expression of being able to say what they wanted to say, or when they tell me that they were able to use the phrases they practiced outside of our Japanese lessons. Seeing the progress and success of my learners is a great joy for me as a Japanese language teacher.

How are your lessons?

Through our lessons, we will work on improving your speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in Japanese. We will also learn about the customs, traditions, and social etiquette of Japan, as well as explore various topics related to Japanese culture and society.

Moreover, I believe that learning a language should be fun and engaging. Therefore, I will incorporate interactive and enjoyable activities into our lessons, such as role-playing, games, and discussions. By creating a positive and supportive learning environment, I hope to help you achieve your language goals and build your confidence in using Japanese.

What are your hobbies?

I used to go scuba diving in places like the Izu Peninsula, remote islands in Okinawa, and overseas oceans. I have dived almost 500 times and have taken many underwater photos.

Nowadays, I enjoy going to music concerts with my husband. I am a fan of Japanese hip-hop groups RHYMESTER and Creepy Nuts, as well as the female idol group Nogizaka46. I love imagining the stories behind the Japanese lyrics of their songs.
