Japanese Lesson Testimonials - Wada Sensei Karim

Why do you want to learn Japanese?

One of the big reasons for learning Japanese was that I wanted to try learning a non-European language. I can already speak several European languages in addition to my native Arabic and have a strong feel for Western and Egyptian culture and way of life. I felt learning Japanese would give me a feel for the mindset, language, and culture completely different from my own.

I was invited to come to Tokyo to do research for several months and I jumped on the opportunity to come. now that I am here, I also wanted to make the most out of my experience in Japan by meeting Japanese people and learning Japanese.

Why did you choose Japan Switch?

My friend forwarded me the website and the school looked pretty interesting. The staff were responsive and the school system was simple to understand. The location was perfect for me and on the way to work and the staff was really kind and friendly when I met them in person.

How are your lessons?

I am really happy with my lessons with Wada Sensei. I am taking two private lessons a week with her and I felt this was a good amount to develop a connection with one person and our lessons developed into a good natural flow for me.

There was a lot of room for questions and times for explanation. There was also time to divert from the book, even though the book was really good and I got to learn not only about Japanese but life in Japan and things to do in Tokyo too.

How did Japan Switch surprise you?

I have never been to a Japanese language school before, but I liked how the environment was relaxed and the interior of the school looks welcoming.

I am also happy with my lessons and thankful for the positive experience I had in Tokyo and would like to come back again in the future.
